How it works

Not a score. A decision you can understand.

A green number can create false confidence. SignalCheck separates technical signals from human pressure tactics, then shows the evidence behind its recommendation.

Human signals matter

Scams often look normal until the payment request.

That is why SignalCheck reads the conversation, not just the domain. It looks for urgency, impersonation, secrecy, unusual payment methods, and attempts to move you away from platform protection.

Important context

What a scam checker can—and cannot—tell you.

Can SignalCheck guarantee something is safe?

No. A low-risk result means no strong warning signals were found in the available evidence. It is not a guarantee, and high-value payments should still be verified independently.

What happens to uploaded screenshots?

Images are sent only for the requested analysis, are not stored by SignalCheck, and the result identifies the AI provider involved. Remove passwords, account numbers, and other unnecessary personal data before uploading.

Why not show one trust score?

A single number hides uncertainty. SignalCheck shows which facts are known, which signals are suspicious, and which checks still require verification.

What data sources does the live beta use?

Authoritative RDAP registration data, live redirect and response inspection, HTTPS and URL structure signals, deterministic social-engineering rules, and—when configured—Google Web Risk and AI screenshot analysis.
