Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SignalCheck. The service provides decision support—not a guarantee that a person, message, website, or payment is safe.

Effective July 30, 2026 · Last updated July 30, 2026
01

Agreement and eligibility

By using SignalCheck, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these Terms. A parent or guardian must approve use by a minor where local law requires it.

The legal operator name, contact address, and governing jurisdiction will be added before public launch or sale of a paid plan.

02

What SignalCheck provides

SignalCheck evaluates available technical and language signals and explains reasons for a low-risk, suspicious, or high-risk result. Results may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and must not be treated as identity verification, fraud insurance, legal advice, investment advice, or a substitute for independent verification.

Never send money, credentials, or sensitive information solely because SignalCheck returned a low-risk result. Contact the relevant organization using details you independently trust.

03

Acceptable use

  • Submit only content you are permitted to process.
  • Do not upload passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details, or unlawful content.
  • Do not probe private networks, bypass limits, disrupt the service, or automate abusive traffic.
  • Do not use results to harass, discriminate against, defame, or make automated high-impact decisions about another person.
  • Do not resell or reproduce the service except under a written Business API agreement.
04

Your content

You retain your rights in submitted content. You grant SignalCheck and its service providers a limited right to process that content only to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the requested service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and permissions associated with what you submit.

05

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Free limits reset on the schedule shown in the product. If paid plans are enabled, the PayPal checkout page will state the price, billing interval, included features, taxes, and renewal terms before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel future renewals through the billing portal; access continues through the paid period unless otherwise stated. Except where law requires otherwise, charges for a completed billing period are non-refundable. SignalCheck may change future pricing with advance notice and will not change an already completed charge retroactively.

06

Availability and changes

SignalCheck may add, change, suspend, or remove features, providers, limits, and beta functionality. Reasonable efforts will be used to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised.

07

Intellectual property

SignalCheck's software, design, branding, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended.

08

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalCheck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of funds, profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of or reliance on the service. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid SignalCheck during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only where lawful.

09

Suspension, termination, and disputes

Access may be suspended or terminated for misuse, risk to users or systems, nonpayment, or material breach. You may stop using the service at any time; cancellation of a paid subscription is still required to stop renewal.

Before filing a formal claim, both sides agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution. Governing law and venue will be identified before public launch based on the service operator's legal establishment.

10

Changes and contact

Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. A dedicated support contact will be published on this page before the service is opened publicly or accepts payment.
